Sacraments and Spiritual Support

As the Shrine of the Patroness of Latvian Families, we hold a special intention in our prayers for strong marriages and unity across generations. Everyone is welcome here to experience God’s love, healing, and peace.

Holy Baptism

A child’s baptism is the first and most beautiful step on their journey of faith. We warmly invite parents and godparents to arrange a meeting with our priest to discuss the preparation process and choose a date for the baptism.

The Sacrament of Marriage

As the Shrine of the Patroness of Families, Skaistkalne is a truly blessed place to celebrate your wedding and enter into Holy Matrimony. We kindly ask engaged couples to contact us at least three months in advance so we can help you arrange the essential marriage preparation courses.

Anointing of the Sick

In cases of illness or old age, our priest travels to homes and hospitals to offer the faithful Confession, Holy Communion, and the Anointing of the Sick, bringing God’s healing presence wherever you are.

Reconciliation & Spiritual Support

The mercy of God is infinite. You will find our priests available for Confession 30 minutes before each Mass begins. For deeper spiritual guidance or a longer heartfelt conversation, we warmly invite you to contact us beforehand to arrange a meeting.
